Europe's biggest railway, and on my phone it just loads the desktop site.
Last week I was out and about and wanted to quickly search for a connection, but instead of the mobile view I got the full desktop version with tiny text, buttons you can barely hit with a finger, and everything squeezed onto phone size.
The genuinely odd thing about it is that sometimes the mobile layout loads perfectly normally and sometimes it just doesn't, so same page, two completely different experiences, and you never know in advance which one you'll get, and sometimes there's even an extra step between search and result that nobody actually needs.
And the thing is, you almost always use a railway site on the move, on the platform, in a crowd, with one hand, and in exactly that moment you want less effort, not more.
The funny part is that this isn't even a redesign problem, it's simply a question of consistency, a mobile layout that loads reliably every time.
So dear DB, this can be done better, from someone who genuinely loves taking the train.
